At our practice we implement CEREC- an advanced technology in digital impressioning, to manufacture ceramic restorations in one treatment.

CEREC (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics, or Ceramic Reconstruction) is a dental restoration technology that provides digital impressions and allows the practitioner to produce a ceramic restoration in a single visit.

Using computer assisted technology such as 3D imaging and CAD/CAM, dental restorations can be created and placed without the need for a series of appointments.

Single appointment restorations…
Additionally, with the latest software and hardware updates, crowns, veneers, inlays and onlays can be prepared, using different types of ceramic material.

Revolutionising restoration techniques…
Most dental restorative methods require more than one visit to the dentist. This means that on the first visit, your tooth will need to be prepared, an impression will need to be made and a temporary restoration will be placed. A second appointment will involve the removal of your temporary restoration, in preparation for your permanent restoration.

Innovative CEREC restorations…
With CEREC, the procedure is completed using 3D scans to generate your ceramic restoration. With CEREC, the dentist can use strong, tooth coloured ceramic materials to restore your teeth to their natural beauty and function without delay.

Dental Materials
CEREC materials match the physical properties and colour of the natural tooth more closely than metal fillings or crowns. Also, the materials are bonded to your tooth structure, so the dentist can save as much healthy tooth structure as possible.
